An Evening With Magnum

The proof of the pudding is indeed in eating. The quality of a new range of ice cream can only be judged after a fair trial,so when I got the opportunity to attend the launch of  Magnum Ice cream , I made up my mind to indulge myself in the exotic experience of Belgian Chocolate.

 Celebrity Chef Kunal Kapur of Master Chef India Fame hosted the Magnum MasterClass in the city,along with Magnum lover Soha Ali Khan. The show began with the Chef explaining the difference between White and Dark Chocolate and why White Chocolate is technically not a Chocolate. He also made us familiar with the processes of Chocolate making.

 I guess everyone in the hall had same question in mind -  Why Belgian Chocolate ?  
So without wasting much time Chef explained to us how Belgian Chocolate contains minimum of 35% Cocoa,one of the highest in the world making it rich and indulgent. So when team Magnum launched the ice cream they wanted every one in the hall to bite at the same time. Guess what,there was a complete silence in the hall except of the 'Distinctive Cracking' sound. This was due to the Belgian Chocolate coating on Magnum designed to be thick & cracking.





Needless to say that actress Soha Ali Khan was looking absolutely stunning in her golden dress, and I was so amazed to know that she eats Chocolate almost everyday and still manages to look so slim. Maybe because good chocolate is good for health. With this note Chef Kunal Kapur gave us a whole new recipe of 'Patishapta'.




The super interactive session became more exciting when Chef Kunal opened the floor to the audience by allowing them to design their own creations. The Magnum and Bengali dessert concoctions,designed with premium toppings,were an indulgent and visual treat that highlighted the brand's tagline - Enjoy The Royal Treatment!




Starting March 1st,2015, it will be available in three different flavors - Classic,Almond And Chocolate Truffle. I am sure Kolkata is going to love Magnum.
