Kolkata is the city of heritage, love and food. My city has many shades and  an uncountable reasons to fall in love with. Aside from its colonial culture and heritage it is one of the foodie capital of India. In few rupees you can have a mouth watering feast, from Chinese noodles to chat and from Lebanese salads to kati rolls,it has enough choices to spoil you. Well, I can go on and on about kolkata's food life.

Though I love eating almost every kind of street food, one particular dish that will always top my list is Fish fry and by fish fry I don't mean normal fish slices deep fried in oil. Kolkata style fish fry is crisp from outside and the fish is tender inside,it taste great as a snack as well as appetizer.

Here is my version of the dish, which is very simple, takes hardly an hour to prepare and taste heavenly. I have used bhetki fish fillet ( Sea Bass), you can try with any fish fillet, though it does taste best with bhetki fish.
