The Afraa Deli an initiative by Ambuja Neotia Group,celebrated The Mango Marvels in association with Kolkata Food Bloggers at city centre 1 salt lake.I attended the event as a member of the Kolkata Food Bloggers group. I really enjoyed and absolutely loved the ambiance. This chain of lounge cum restaurants has four major outlets in the city which heralds a new food culture in Kolkata. They offer wide variety of menu starting from freshly baked breads,brownies,imported cheese and a wide selection of beverages. Their Mango Marvel Festival will continue till 30th of June and if you are a Mango lover and want to try some exotic recipes,this is exactly the place you should visit.
Upon our entry,we were served with assorted Moctails. The Mango Planter's Punch which they served with freshly cut Mangoes just set the right mood for the evening.Our host and Afraa Deli's bakery and pastry Chef Debopom Sinha demonstrated some of the most exotic dessert recipes like Chocolate Mango lava cake,Mango Pannacota with jelly and Red velvety Mango mousse cake. Afraa Deli's executive chef Debyendu Ghosh was present throughout the session.The participants throughly enjoyed this interactive workshop as their every queries were entertained by the chefs.At the end of the session we were given to taste some of the exotic desserts made by them,which concluded our evening with much gratification.
