My family don't have a sweet tooth,both my hubby and mom-in law are scared of sweets.So its only me and my two year old who are fond of sugar and everything which is sweet. I can sacrifice anything under the sun except for sweets. At times our guests even wonder,why there are two bowls for every dish - one with sugar and the other without sugar. Whenever I make something for dessert either I gulp the entire dish or have to distribute it to our neighbors.

Melon is one fruit which is despite being sweet is favored by my entire family. A glass of watermelon juice or even bowl of freshly cut melons,is always welcome by my family members.The reason may be quite obvious,lemon and melon are consider as best summer fruit,have it in a form of chilled soup,juice or any kind of cocktail beverage,they instantly gives you energy and prevent your body from dehydration.

When watermelon is in abundance,it is wise to use them as in many ways as you can.This summer fruit not only taste great but also provide our body with water and a combination of nutrition,keeping our body healthy and happy.

Recipe Of Watermelon Crush

Ingredient :

  • 1 large watermelon,cut into chunks,seeds removed.
  • Juice of two limes
  • 50 g sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups of ice cubes

Method :

  • Combine some watermelon cubes,lime juice,sugar and salt in a blender and process until smooth.Strain the mixture in a bowl.
  • Combine ice cubes and watermelon in a blender and process until slushy.
  • Take a glass,add some slushy mixture of watermelon and ice,next pour the juice and again top it with ice cubes and watermelon.Serve immediately.
