Once we learn to think differently am sure we are going to enjoy our life and our food with ease and comfort. The recipe that I am going to share with you today is not something you are not aware of  but as I firmly believe  that bringing twist in your food is just like adding color to your life I am going to bring a twist to a very simple dish. Bread chop is very simple to make in fact I believe it is the simplest dish to prepare and it taste wonderful with Apricot Chutney.

Bread Chop With Tangy  Apricot Chutney Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Bread Slices 4-6 
  • Red Chilli Powder 1/2 Tbs
  • Black Pepper 1 Tbs
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry

Ingredient For The Chutney:

  • Apricot 200 gms
  • Mustard Seeds
  • Cumin Seeds
  • Red Chilli Powder 1 Tbs
  • Salt 
  • Black Pepper 2 Tbs
  • Mustard Oil
  • Sugar To Taste

Method For The Chutney :

  •  Soak the Apricots overnight and then boil them in the morning. Cut them into slices and keep it aside.
  • In a pan take 3 Tbs of Mustard oil. Once the oil is ready put some mustard seeds first and then cumin seeds and red chilli powder. The mixture will start crackling after couple of seconds which means your Masala is ready.
  • Add the boiled Apricots and start blending the masalas  well. After stirring for about 5 mints add some salt,sugar and black pepper. After seasoning ladle the mixture in a bowl and allow it to cool for sometime
  • Now Blend the entire mixture in a blender. Once done pour it in a bowl.
  • Your Apricot chutney is ready.

For The Bread Chop:

  • Prepare a mixture of bread crumbs with red chilli powder,black pepper and salt.
  • Soak the bread slices in warm water and squeeze it with both your hands.
  • Give it a oval shape in your hand. Rub with bread crumb mixture and deep fry them.
